Core Categories

The red dot in the center represents the defect, or change, or issue, or delta. The semantic information in this delta/defect is extracted into categories represented by these four primary dimensions. These data are related to each other on a per event basis. The data is not analyzed on a per event basis but is aggregated over other dimensions such as time, release, product, sikll group or customer groups.

This in a nutshell captures the mechanics of what is done. How one reads the analysis and turns that insight into action is a different discussion.
